Joining the Pool
Joining UMA.rocks' voting pool is straightforward. Here's how it works.
1. Stake at least 500 UMA
Before delegating, you must have at least 500 UMA staked. Without this, you cannot join the pool.
2. Adding UMA.rocks as Your Delegate
Go to your Wallet Settings → Delegate Wallet. On UMA.rocks, copy your unique delegate address (each user gets a different one). Paste it into the Delegate Wallet field, click Add Delegate, and sign the transaction.
The voting pool's delegate address you see is unique to you. Never copy someone else's address.
3. Wait for Delegation to Be Accepted
Delegations are automatically accepted at 11AM UTC each Commit day.
If you request delegation before 11AM UTC on a Commit Day, it will be approved for the current voting cycle.
If you request delegation after 11AM UTC on a Commit Day, it will be approved at 11AM UTC on the next Commit Day.
UMA.rocks will begin voting for you in the cycle when your delegation is accepted.
If you cast your own vote before UMA.rocks does, it will not overwrite your vote.
You can overwrite UMA.rocks' vote at any time.
Once your delegation request has been accepted, you can verify it in Wallet Settings.
Once accepted, the UMA.rocks bot will notify you in the #general channel. From this point, voting is handled automatically.
Shortly after the Reveal Phase begins, UMA.rocks automatically reveals your votes.
4. Join the Exclusive Members Channel (Optional)
Delegators can join the private #members channel in Discord by signing a message on Etherscan.
Go to Etherscan Sign & Verify.
Click Sign Message.
Enter your Discord username in the Message field.
Sign and publish the message.
You'll get a signature link in the format:

Once approved, you'll gain access to the channel to chat with other delegators.
5. Automatic Voting Flow
After joining the voting pool, UMA.rocks will handle votes on your behalf. The UMA.rocks bot posts updates in the #voting-history channel every cycle (48 hours):
Commit Preview
11 hours after the Commit Phase begins, UMA.rocks posts its voting answers. If you agree, no action is needed. If not, you can cast your own vote.
Commit Confirmation
About 1 hour later, a message confirms that all votes have been committed.
Reveal Confirmation
12 hours later, after the Reveal Phase begins, a message confirms that all votes were revealed.
This three-message flow repeats every cycle, giving you full visibility into how UMA.rocks is voting on your behalf.
