# Exclusive Interview

For this chapter, we spoke with the creator of Polynoob to learn more about the project, how it started, and what goes into documenting Polymarket lore.

***

Polynoob was born from an idea that first emerged in early 2023, though its roots traced back one year earlier. The project rests on three core pillars.

**The first pillar** is about bringing visibility to the Polymarket community, not just the platform itself, but the traders, the people behind the screens. Polynoob is not simply a website; it is meant to be a place where Polymarket traders can see themselves, and perhaps even the alter egos they have crafted through years of trading activity.

**The second pillar** is centered on strategies and news, delivered in a direct and unfiltered way, shared by real traders with years of experience. The goal is to reduce information asymmetry and help new traders avoid repeating the same mistakes made by those who came before them. After all, knowledge is power.

**The third pillar** is about growing the culture of prediction markets. This means collecting and telling stories from the industry, not just through cold analysis, but in a more human and relatable way, reflecting the people who make up this unique ecosystem.

Finally, toward the end of 2024, I decided it was time to turn this idea into something concrete. That is how Polynoob took shape, a name that carries meaning, and a symbol for a larger vision.

In the end, it was the Polymarket Builder Program that became the real catalyst, giving me the opportunity to bring everything together while opening the door to collaboration with different communities and organizations beyond Polymarket itself.
