These clarifications explain how the market should resolve. ### What are clarifications? Clarifications are Polymarket's official statements used to clear up confusion or disagreement about what the market rules mean. They may explain or refine how the rules apply, but they cannot change the **fundamental intent of the market question**. ### Why do they matter? Clarifications help reduce confusion and settle disagreements over how the rules should be applied. ### When are they issued? Clarifications may be issued when the rules are unclear, traders disagree about what counts, or new situations arise that were not covered by the original rules. ### Where do they appear? Polymarket issues clarifications by adding an **Additional context** note at the top of the market rules. They are also announced in the **#clarifications** channel on Discord.
