# Additional Clauses
Some markets include additional clauses that affect how they resolve.
### Data Finalization Clause
Sometimes, **resolution is delayed** for a set period of time to account for data changes.
*Examples*: earthquake magnitude revisions, final YouTube view counts, athletic event stat corrections
### Data Availability Clause
In other cases, **resolution waits** until the needed information becomes available.
*Examples*: recorded earthquake magnitude, release of delayed economic reports, publication of interview transcripts
### Early Resolution Clause
In single-outcome markets, **resolution can happen before the deadline** if the outcome can no longer change.
*Examples*: an event being canceled, a candidate dropping out of an election, a company being acquired before its planned IPO
### Outcome Elimination Clause
In multi-outcome markets, **individual outcomes may resolve to No** once they can no longer occur.
*Examples*: a sports team being mathematically eliminated from playoffs, a candidate missing the ballot filing deadline, a person becoming ineligible (such as through death or disqualification)
