# Voting Options

When voting, you'll choose one of the following options:

<table><thead><tr><th width="178.13336181640625">Option</th><th width="210.29998779296875">Answer</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>P1</strong></td><td>No</td><td>The market resolves to the first outcome.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>P2</strong></td><td>Yes</td><td>The market resolves to the second outcome.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>P3</strong></td><td>Unknown / 50-50</td><td>The market resolves to Unknown.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>P4</strong></td><td>Too Early</td><td>The market is not yet ready to resolve.</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
P1 and P2 depend on the market. For example, they may represent No/Yes, Team A/Team B, or Down/Up. P3 and P4 are generally consistent across requests.
{% endhint %}

### When is P4 used?

P4 is used when the proposal was submitted before the market could resolve under its rules.

Unlike P1, P2, and P3, P4 does not resolve the market. Instead, the market remains unresolved until its resolution requirements are satisfied.

*Example*: If a No proposal is submitted before the market deadline has passed, voters may choose P4 because the market can still resolve Yes before the deadline.
