# Discussing

During the resolution process, you can participate in discussions about how a market should resolve.

### When can I discuss a resolution?

Resolution discussions can happen:

* before a proposal
* during the challenge period
* after a dispute

Discussion is especially useful when the rules, evidence, or proposed outcome are unclear.

### Where can I discuss?

Get started by heading to the Polymarket and UMA Discord servers.

For general resolution discussions, use **#polymarket-review** in the Polymarket Discord or **#market-chat** in the UMA Discord.

After a dispute, both Polymarket and UMA create dedicated dispute threads where users can discuss the disputed market.

The UMA Discord also has a **#voting-discussion** channel for upcoming dispute votes.
